I am still liking Mobster Boss

As I wrote before, I found a really solid Mafia game… Mobster Boss. I am still impressed with them. They still don’t know the purpose of my mission, but my quest has become more than that now. I have really gotten into this game! Like I had said in my previous posts, I gave tons of the other mafia games a shot, and found the majority of them to be poorly run (kids…. nonprofessional), and certainly not on the up and up. But these guys at Mobster Boss seem to let the players dictate the tempo and direction of the game. As would be with any good business, the Admins stay out of the loop unless necessary, and definitely let the game members lead the direction of game play as long it is within the scope of the game rules. I am just impressed. And I actually won a money prize. Wow! I was paid within minutes of the current round’s end. No muss. No fuss. Just a “Congratulations”, and here is your money. Too cool!

I know it may sound like I am advertising for them, but I AM NOT. I am just totally impressed.

So If you guys have a suggestion of other Mafia games, let me know. I will give it a shot, and then give you my honest opinion. But please be prepared for my true review. If they are good, and seem above board, I will say so. If not, then I will report that as well.

In the meantime, you guys should give Mobsterboss a shot.

Finally, a Mafia game worth reviewing!

I finally found a Mafia game worth reviewing! Mobsterboss.com ! I give Mobster Boss a big thumbs up! After logging onto dozens of online mafia games, I finally found one that is no doubt the best run Mafia Game that I have played…. Fresh new features, solid staff, and some of the most innovative and unique ideas that I have yet to see in any other game of this sort. These guys raised the bar as far as I am concerned. I have played there for 2 rounds so far, at time of this writing, and I am very impressed!

So many of the Mafia games I have visited seem to be run by kids or people with no business sense, and certainly no sense of fair play. On the other hand, Mobster Boss seems to take fair play to the extreme. From what I can see so far, they treat everyone, from free player to supporter, the same. They run it like a business. You don’t see ads anywhere on the site, and if you have an issue or question, they address it promptly and with courtesy. I had a question….. posed it to the Admin, and they answered it in a prompt and educated manner.

Their prize distribution schedule really gives a player something to shoot for. I am impressed. When a round ended, prizes were distributed lightening fast, and the new round had started without a missed step. I didn’t finish high enough in rank to qualify for one of the cash prizes, but I did qualify for a really nice credits prize. It seemed that my Credits prize was in my account within minutes of round end. One of the cash prize winners indicated to me that he had won a cash prize before, and that he received his prize extremely fast as well. That is a pretty good endorsement as far as I am concerned.

Before you get the idea that they are paying me to write this review… THEY ARE NOT. I have not let on to anyone about my quest here. I set out to find a good mafia game, and I found one. So I am writing about it. That was the purpose of this blog from the beginning. I had also intended to make a list of Mafia Games. But the problem is that I couldn’t find any games worth writing about, until now. So I will continue to play Mobster Boss, and will continue looking for other decent games to play as well. If I find another one worth reviewing, I will post about it. I see no point in writing about what appeared to be going on in most of the other games I visited, or the lack of honest business ethics on most of the other sites I visited as well. That would throw too much negativity into my blog. I want to write about positive things.

So if you are looking for a great Browser Based Mafia Game, I absolutely endorse, and encourage you to give Mobster Boss a try! Extremely well done on their part! I was so focused on their game, that I almost forgot to mention their Forums! The Forums on their site are fun, wild, and crazy in addition to the game!

I’m not posting my own referral link because I believe that would be cheap, self serving, and take away from unbiased content of my review. So I am just posting a direct link to their site in my post.

Why do you play online mafia games?

I play online mafia games because it gives me a chance to act out and relieve my frustrations in ways that I normally wouldn’t be able to in real life. If I have had a bad day, I can log in to my favorite mafia game, cuss someone out, spoil their plans for a win, and make their day in the game as frustrating as mine was in the real world. After all, misery seems to love company.

There you set at your keyboard…… surveying the players who seem to be all set to make a run for the win. I attack! The messages start rolling in… “Why did you attack me?” “What did we ever do to you?” It looks like their plans are falling apart. More messages….. “you son of a bitch!” “I’m gonna run you out of this game!” More threats and more “WHY, WHY, WHY” questions. The game is abound with activity! People scrambling around making transfers to protect the net worth! Then others in the game who were setting on their ass, wanting to attack the big guys but were afraid to make a move, join in and start attacking as well. It’s a free for all! More messages….. “why did you attack?” “Why… Why… Why…”

Why? Because I could! Have a nice day.

I’m making a list of Mafia Games

Wow, I am putting together a list of Mafia game sites that I am visiting. I will publish them soon with a report as to what I have found.

Funny thing though, I signed up for a game yesterday. I got an email from them. Which is cool. After all I signed up. But then I got bombarded with “notices by email” from other games. WTF? This makes me think that some of these guys are sharing databases! PERSONAL PLAYER INFORMATION BEING PASSED AROUND? This is not cool. Then a buddy of mine told me that these so called “script sellers” who sell the same game code over and over to anyone with a dollar in their pocket, are also more then likely maintaining the sites for the people they sell the code to. And they are copying the databases of the “players” information, so now they can sell a script with a built in database of existing players from other games they manage. This is WAY not cool! BTW, the game sucked. I will include it in my list, and a rundown of my opinion after I get the list put together. This is crazy!

Mafia Games

I love Mafia games.  My quest to find a good Mafia game has taken some surprising twists along my journey.

Some of the games that I would have imagined to be really good, based on hype, turned out to be total garbage.  Run by someone from their parents basement.  How they got into the search engines is anyone’s guess.  But it does tell me that just about anyone can get a search engine ranking.  Others have turned out to be nothing more than an “Ad Fest”.  I guess you have to “kiss a lot of Frogs…..”.  Well, you know the story.

I certainly would have expected Mafia Wars to be much more than it turned out to be.  After all, it’s connected with and advertised heavily on Facebook.  What a disappointment that was.  Riddled with advertising to a point that I was overwhelmed with offers to advance my position in the game by clicking through on Ads, or filling out surveys.  If I wanted that much invasion into and tracking of my web experience, I would have signed up for newsletters from whacked out political parties.  On top of everything else, it seems that the real competition here is to see who can create the most accounts, so that they can “gift” to their main account.  Not for me.

So, my quest will continue……….
